“This may not be the most beautiful painting in the world, but it was an enjoyable one to paint and a great way to start the day. I rose early to get to my painting spot for around 6am, and worked quickly to capture the warm light of the early morning sun. Painting outdoors can be challenging at times as you have to deal with the ever-changing light and weather conditions, although I find that these fluctuations can lead to achieving a more genuine feeling of the place, as in reality no where is ever completely static.”
Framed: 34 x 34 cm | Artwork only: 20.5 x 20.5 cm

"Early Morning Sunrise" is part of the following Collection(s):
The Landscape Collection portrays the ever-changing light, colour and emotion of nature. Like impressionist painters before him such as Monet, Paul's landscape paintings are painted with visible thick strokes and vibrant colour to create the illusion of the landscape and environment being in constant motion. Taking inspiration from views that stopped him in his tracks whilst exploring the landscape, the paintings in this collection depict scenes such as golden autumnal woodlands and tranquil lily ponds.
