In this highly detailed and panoramic limited edition artwork, Paul captures the breathtaking London skyline with a multitude of bold, angular marks that imitate the mighty urban structures of the city. The monochrome colour palette hints at an imminent downpour and the hazy distant edges of the city disappear on the horizon creating a powerful sense of depth and vastness. Exposed areas of aluminium create glistening reflections from within the cityscape itself, a unique characteristic of Paul’s work.
My work is heavily inspired by the differing times of the day and the effects these throw across cities. I am fascinated by natural light and the way it interacts with buildings
