About “My Work Boots”
“My trusty Dr. Martens painting shoes, this time painted in watercolour and ink on paper. After painting the shoes with a brush, I flicked paint onto the shoes to replicate paint splatters, and applied black ink with an old paintbrush handle which I had carved into a point. I go through brushes quite quickly, so it feels great to be able to recycle them into new tools and give them a new lease of life!”
