Sentient Colour #1

‘Sentient Colour #1’ is extracted from a section of an impasto oil painting, developed in the studio over many years, before being digitally manipulated to enhance the extremely tactile and sculptural surface. The fleshy masses of paint appear alive; oozing slowly across the canvas.

To create this abstract piece, the physical painting was digitised with a Leica M (Type 240) camera, paired with a Leica Summilux-M 1:1.4/35 lens for superlative colour depth and image quality. Composited images were then enhanced and distorted in 3D space to create the final NFT.
