"Thames Light" is a quiet, atmospheric view along the South Bank on a wet winter's evening, two figures walking the rain-slicked embankment as the glow of Victorian lamp posts catches in the pavement below and Big Ben rises through a cool, cloudy sky across the river. Printed on aluminium, the surface lends a natural luminosity to the lamplight and wet ground that sits in keeping with the mood of the original. Each edition is reproduced from high resolution imagery from Paul’s original work, as a giclée reproduction on sheet aluminium. The print is then professionally hand-embellished to simulate the actual textures and appearance of Paul’s brushwork and detailing.
