"Bank Junction" is an original mixed media painting on board capturing one of the City of London's most iconic intersections, with the neoclassical facade of the Royal Exchange dominating the composition. A red double-decker bus cuts through the left of the frame, its vivid colour a bold counterpoint to the cool greys and blues of the surrounding architecture, while wet reflections across the foreground dissolve the scene into fragments of yellow, red and white light. Painted with energetic palette knife work at 37 x 60cm, the piece captures the restless pulse of the city on a rain-soaked day
