“Big Ben Glimpse”

Through a veil of mist and rain, the clock tower looms ghost-like beyond a row of glowing lamps, their light smeared and reflected across a glistening bridge. A couple walks away into the haze, arm in arm, their silhouettes the only sharp note in a world dissolved to silver and smoke. Overhanging branches frame the scene, soft as breath against the night sky.
It is a tender, cinematic moment, all hush and shimmer, rendered almost entirely in tone.
This is an original ink and charcoal painting on Indian paper, part of the Artisan Paper Collection, float mounted with a black frame, by Paul Kenton.
