Framed Dimensions (approx.): 67 x 189 cm | 26.5 x 74.5 in

"Golden Capital" is a sweeping panorama of the London skyline at sunset, the Shard rising on the left and the City's cluster of towers to the right, all set against a sky that moves from deep blue at the top down through pink and into a broad band of warm gold at the horizon. The cityscape below is alive with colour — blues, oranges and yellows worked into the buildings and rooftops as the evening light catches every surface. Painted in oil on aluminium as a 72 x 24 inch original, the long narrow format gives the piece the feel of a widescreen vista, and the metal ground adds a quiet luminosity to the light across the skyline.
