Framed Dimensions (approx.): 82 x 158.5 cm | 32.5 x 62.5 in

"Thames in Texture" is a wide panoramic view of the Thames at sunset, the Shard catching the last of the evening light as it rises above a bridge mid-composition, with the warm orange and pink sky reflected across the full width of the river below. The palette is bold but balanced — deep blues in the sky and water offset by the amber and gold of the sunset — and the heavily worked oil surface gives the whole scene a real sense of texture and movement. Painted on aluminium as a 60 x 30 inch original, it's a substantial piece that rewards close inspection as much as it does from a distance.
