A One Way sign stands sentinel at a grey city crossing, the steel girders of an elevated railway cutting across the sky above. Traffic lights, tram tracks and crossing stripes carve the road into bold geometry, while a lone figure walks the far pavement and pale daylight floods the avenue beyond.
Kenton renders the scene entirely in ink, ranging from inky structural blacks to delicate silver washes. The contrast between hard urban lines and soft atmospheric distance gives the composition its quiet, watchful tension.
