A row of yellow cabs idles along a rain-washed street, framed by tall, weathered buildings that fade into a soft pale sky. Reflections smear down the wet tarmac in streaks of red and amber, and the loose, scratched marks of the architecture give the city a raw, structural feel.
The restrained palette of greys and bone-white, lifted by warm cab yellow and sharp accents of signal red, lends the scene a cool, contemplative quiet.
