Inspired by the bright lights of New York, which are so powerful at bringing the city to life at night, from the dotted lights of the skyscrapers to the beaming headlights of rushing traffic. Dripped lines of golden yellow paint charge this painting with energy.

I wanted to capture the feeling of anticipation and excitement as I cross Brooklyn Bridge towards Manhattan, with the city skyline in the distance.
