Sonic the Hedgehog is one of the most revered characters in video gaming and pop culture. In celebration of Sonic the Hedgehog’s 25th Anniversary, Paul was asked by Sega to create an artwork to pay homage to this gaming legend.
This limited edition print comes with a certificate of authenticity, certified by Sega in collaboration with Washington Green Fine Art.
I found that my dripped painterly style lends itself to the speed and rapid movement that his character exudes. Splashes of pigment, fluid lines and bold colour add to the energy within the composition and, I hope, do justice to the legend that is Sonic!
