Magnetic Metropolis

This work was initiated by digitising an original London cityscape painting in mixed media on sheet aluminium. As night falls upon London, the streets come alive with alluring lights, which bounce off rain-slicked streets and towering metallic skyscrapers. The Gherkin rises into the sky, commanding attention among this dynamic city scene.

To create this London piece, the physical painting was digitised with a Leica M (Type 240) camera. Several images were then composited & enhanced with further digital painting to create the final artwork.
