Transient Light

This work was initiated by digitising an original London cityscape painting in mixed media on sheet aluminium. It imagines a hallucinatory moment in time when final flashes of brilliant sunset light transform the looming night skies above Tower Bridge and mirror into the Thames with mesmerising clarity.

To create this London piece, the physical painting was digitised with a Leica M (Type 240) camera for superlative colour depth and image quality. Several images were then composited & enhanced with further digital painting to create the final artwork.
