This panoramic painting depicts the spectacular grandeur of Mount Everest amongst the wide-reaching Himalayan skyline. The luminous snow capped mountain peaks glow brilliantly in the fleeting light of the day.
Paul has left areas of the aluminium exposed, so that the snow appears to glint as it would in reality when the sun shines. Blues are used in contrast with warm oranges and yellows to create distance, dimension and form.
