“City Corridor”

51 x 40.5 cm | 20 x 16 in

Framed Dimensions (approx.): 65 x 54.5 cm | 25.5 x 21.5 in

"City Corridor" plunges you into the heart of a neon-lit city street, buildings crowding in on both sides as the scene recedes into a sliver of blue sky at the centre. The palette is bold and densely worked — reds, oranges, pinks and blues layered across the facades, with the wet street below picking up the colours in loose reflection. At 16 x 20 inches, this original mixed media on board is an intimate piece, but the composition has real intensity to it.
