Autumn sets the canal ablaze. Trees in fiery orange and russet lean over still water, their colour mirrored below alongside a scatter of moored rowing boats. A small bridge arches in the distance beneath a soft blue sky, and a few figures stroll the bankside path, the whole scene wrapped in a gentle seasonal hush.
Kenton handles the watercolour with a light, fluid touch, letting warm and cool tones meet across the glassy reflections.
