A quiet Venetian canal slips between sun-warmed facades, their ochre, coral and faded terracotta walls mirrored in jade-green water. A low stone bridge spans the channel beyond, while moored wooden boats rest along an arcaded quay, the whole scene bathed in gentle Adriatic light.
Here Kenton trades his familiar monochrome for soft, luminous colour, letting fluid watercolour washes bleed and pool before ink lines pick out shutters, arches and rigging. The reflections shimmer with unhurried calm.
