A gleaming silver sphere sits low in a city park, its mirrored skin catching a distorted glimpse of the surrounding skyline. Bare, scratchy trees rise around it and a cluster of pale and dark towers looms behind, while loose horizontal bands sweep across the foreground in restless gestural strokes.
The contrast of polished curve against raw, energetic mark-making gives the piece its tension, the city reduced to tone, light and movement.
