A vintage car waits at the head of a rain-washed avenue, the road glistening with reflections that run toward a distant tower rising between the buildings. Bare trees flank the street and a couple walks beneath the soft glow of a streetlamp, the whole scene wrapped in atmospheric tonal greys. It feels timeless and cinematic, a quiet moment caught in the wet.
Kenton works entirely in monochrome, ink and charcoal sketching the architecture loosely over pale washes that pool into liquid reflection.
