A broad avenue stretches toward a wash of pale light, the far towers dissolving into haze while a foreground block stands solid and sunlit, its windows striped with shadow. A line of cars threads down the road, and the horizon seems to bleach away into glare.
Kenton builds the scene in soft greys and inky darks, letting the paper's brightness do the work of sunlight. There is a quiet, cinematic stillness to the composition.
