“Manhattan Heat”

60 x 40 cm | 23.5 x 15.75 in

Framed Dimensions (approx.): 74 x 54 cm | 29.25 x 21.25 in

"Manhattan Heat" looks straight down a New York avenue into a low sunset, the light flooding the street in deep amber and red as it catches the facades of the buildings on either side. Yellow cabs fill the road below, their reflections stretching across the rain-soaked tarmac towards the viewer, the whole scene built from a palette that barely steps outside orange, crimson and gold. Painted in mixed media on board as a 40 x 60cm original, it's a compact piece that packs in a lot of heat and energy for its size.
