The city surges forward in flashes of chrome and colour. With mixed media and metallics, Paul captures New York’s nonstop energy in a piece alive with texture and urban velocity. “Manhattan Momentum” began life not on an easel, but on the floor of Paul’s studio. The base canvas was originally used to protect the workspace during months of painting, gradually building up rich textures and colour from countless artworks. Repurposed into a finished piece, this layered surface forms the foundation of the final composition, complete with traces of Paul’s Doc Martens, grounding the artwork in both his process and his daily rhythm as an urban painter.
