Original Motorsports Painting, 72″ x 30″, Resined Mixed Media on Aluminium. Framed in a black floating frame and ready to hang.
The iconic Brough Superior SS100 motorcycle, originally designed and built in Nottingham, England in 1924, but today lovingly hand-built in Toulouse, France. Often referred to as ‘The Rolls Royce of Motorcycles’, Paul has polished the aluminium surface of the painting to portray the high shine of the Brough’s lustrous and ultra-luxurious bodywork. The contours of the machine are formed with glossy black resin; viscous and greasy like motor oil. Dynamic dripped and scratched lines and vigorous splashes of gold paint suggest the fierce sound and acceleration of this fast and expensive motor.
