A throng of figures gathers beneath umbrellas in the heart of a glowing city at night, their dark silhouettes massed against a backdrop of theatre marquees and neon. Warm flecks of light pierce the smoky darkness, and faint reflections shimmer on the wet street underfoot.
Kenton combines ink and gouache to balance deep, atmospheric shadow with sudden sparks of colour, the crowd reading as one moving chorus beneath the electric glow.
