Dawn breaks over a Venetian square as wrought-iron lamps still burn against a sky that shifts from deep blue to molten gold. Shafts of warm light pour across wet stone, catching the silhouettes of early walkers and the soft mass of an ancient arcaded building. Mist softens every edge, lending the scene a hushed, expectant calm.
Kenton lets the watercolour breathe, allowing pigment to bloom and pool so the light seems to rise from within the paper itself.
