In this giant canvas painting, Paul conveys the movement and chaos of New York’s iconic Time’s Square. Paul creates a highly textured and energetic surface, using tools such as straight edges, palette knives, brushes and the opposite end of a brush. Layer upon layer of thick paint, Paul brings a further level of detail and structure.

I love how organically this painting emerged, with each new brush mark intuitively responding to those laid down before. The finished artwork is full of life; movement; texture; light and vibrant colour – all qualities that remind me of Times Square.
