A molten sun sinks toward the sea, igniting the clouds above in ribbons of scarlet, plum and amber while a cool band of ocean stretches beneath. The last light trails across the rippling water and pools on the wet foreshore, where streaks of purple and gold meet in restless reflection. The mood is warm and expansive, the close of a vivid coastal day.
Kenton lets the watercolour run freely, layering saturated bands of colour to capture the shifting drama of sky and tide.
