“City After Dark”

30 x 85 cm | 11.75 x 33.5 in

Framed Dimensions (approx.): 44 x 99 cm | 17.25 x 39 in

"City After Dark" captures the Manhattan skyline at night, the Brooklyn Bridge stretching across the left of the composition with the city's lights strung out across the middle distance and reflected in the dark water below. The palette is built on deep blue, with gold and white light cutting through the darkness where the buildings and bridge illuminate the scene. Painted in mixed media on board as an 85 x 30cm original, the wide, narrow format suits the panoramic sweep of the skyline well.
