"Flatiron at Dusk" places the Flatiron Building front and centre, its distinctive wedge rising against a heavily textured blue sky as yellow cabs and pedestrians move through the rain-soaked street below. The palette mixes warm pinks, ambers and golds with the cooler blue of the sky, the wet road pulling the colours of the buildings and traffic lights down into loose, broken reflections. This original mixed media on board measures 32 x 75cm — the tall narrow format giving the Flatiron plenty of room to dominate the composition.
