“Amber Canyon”

74 x 30 cm | 29.25 x 11.75 in

Framed Dimensions (approx.): 88 x 44 cm | 34.75 x 17.25 in

"Amber Canyon" looks up through a narrow Manhattan street canyon, the buildings rising steeply on either side in rich golds, ambers and browns as a sliver of pale blue sky opens at the top of the composition. Traffic and figures fill the lower third, their colours bleeding into the wet road below in loose red and yellow reflections. This original mixed media on board, 30 x 74cm, is a compact but densely worked piece with real warmth to it.
