Beneath the heavy shadow of an arched underpass, the golden glow of a bar sign cuts through the gloom, its warm light pooling across the road and the parked cars waiting in the dark. Kenton plays deep charcoal silhouettes against luminous washes of amber, the iron structure overhead pressing down while the light below promises shelter and welcome.
There is a beautiful tension here between the cold, cavernous architecture and that small, beckoning warmth.
