“Mother Nature” is an imposing 8-foot-wide canvas that unfolds a harmonious woodland narrative. The forest’s lush greens blend with the fiery reds and oranges of autumn, their reflections dancing upon the river’s surface. Painted in a dynamic impasto style, each brushstroke exhibits vitality and energy. The vibrant splatters and streaks created as Paul expressively throws the paint across the canvas build an atmosphere of vibrant movement within the serene scene, while the colossal size of the piece envelops you in the grandeur of nature’s transformation. It’s a visceral journey through the changing seasons, conveyed on a scale that holds your attention.

“Mother Nature” is an Original Landscape Painting by Paul Kenton. Paul is an avid ‘Plein Air’ painter, whereby he will explore the landscapes, countrysides and coastlines of the countries he travels to, and will capture the scenes in paintings and sketches whilst outside in the open air. Paul then often uses these smaller artworks as the inspiration and guidance behind his larger studio works. In his 365 Project, Paul actually dedicated an entire year to creating art ‘Plein Air’ every single day. In the trailer for the project, Paul can be seen painting from the waters of his local Devon coastlines, all the way to the streets of Manhattan: Watch Paul painting ‘Plein Air’ in the 365 Project Trailer on YouTube.
