Description

London Embers sets the capital's skyline ablaze beneath a molten sunset sky, The Shard rising cool and pale against the heat of the horizon while the City's cluster of glass towers catches the last of the light. The Thames curves through the centre of the composition, doubling the fire-toned sky in long reflected streaks.

The aluminium print surface suits the warmth and intensity of the original studio painting well, the material's natural sheen adding an extra glow to the metallic tones and reflections throughout.
