Description

London Sunsets in Pastels turns the capital's most familiar silhouettes — Big Ben, Westminster Bridge, the London Eye — into pure colour, with skies rendered in searing orange, crimson and purple.

Pastel gives these paintings their soft, saturated glow: ornate lampposts flare against the fading light, bare winter trees stand in silhouette along the Thames, and long shadows stretch across the bridge underfoot.
