Description

New York Rainy Days is built around one of Paul Kenton's signature subjects: wet city pavements turned to mirrors of warm streetlight and traffic, with pedestrians crossing beneath bright red umbrellas against a mostly muted, atmospheric palette.

The set moves between busy avenues, a rain-glossed crossing near the Chrysler Building, and quieter side streets, each one built with loose ink and watercolour washes that let the reflections do the work of colour.

This Limited Edition Giclée print collection set reproduces the rainy-day New York paintings on fine art paper, capturing the city at its most reflective and moody.
