Description

London Ablaze sets the Palace of Westminster alight in a blazing sunset of gold, magenta and deep purple. Big Ben rises silhouetted against the glow while Westminster Bridge carries the eye across the composition, the Thames answering in a mirrored wash of fire-toned reflection.

Fiery reds and incandescent golds collide with cooler shadow throughout the piece, and the reflective aluminium surface intensifies the effect further — giving the impression that the city itself is radiating heat and motion.

A Limited Edition of 195 from Paul Kenton's London collection, London Ablaze is printed on aluminium at a panoramic 56 x 130 cm.
