Description

New York Shadows captures the crisp geometry and cool light of Fifth Avenue, long morning shadows stretching across the pavement as figures move with quiet purpose beneath the skyline. The Chrysler Building rises in the distance, framed by sharp architectural lines and luminous planes of blue against warm stone and brick.

Embellished by hand, the print enhances the surface with texture and depth, giving the avenue's quiet rhythm a tangible presence — the palette-knife work picking out reflected light along glass towers and long cast shadows underfoot.

A Limited Edition of 195 from Paul Kenton's New York collection, New York Shadows is printed on boxed canvas at 75 x 120cm, with a framed option available at 126 x 81 cm.
