Description
Beneath the Palms trades postcard brightness for mood, tall palms arching and swaying against a soft, silvery lagoon in the dimming light of dusk. The trunks lean and cross to frame the water as it stretches into mist, while darker, tangled undergrowth anchors the foreground.
Worked entirely in tonal ink, Kenton lets wet washes lend the scene a humid, atmospheric hush — a quieter, more intimate register than his city work, but built from the same confident, fluid handling of the medium.
