Description
Chasing the Day follows a red double-decker down a quiet London street as Big Ben dissolves into the morning haze beyond. Figures stride the pavements on either side, their shadows stretching across the damp road, while warm sepia light spills from the far end of the avenue, giving the scene a gentle, unhurried sense of the day getting under way.
Paul Kenton works in warm-toned ink throughout, wrapping solid architecture in soft, vaporous atmosphere, the bus anchoring the composition with quiet weight against the dissolving skyline.
