Description

Distant Glow captures a quiet coastal sunset, the sun sinking low over a calm sea and laying a single ribbon of gold across the wet sand. Peach and apricot clouds drift through a soft blue sky, their undersides catching the last warm light of the day.

Paul keeps the palette gentle and luminous: pale blues and silvery greys in the distant surf, warm ochre and amber in the foreground shallows, and a bright golden reflection reaching down the beach toward the viewer. Loose, fluid brushwork gives the whole scene a hushed, unhurried calm.
