Description

Empire City Spectrum drops you into a Manhattan crossroads lit up in red neon and rain. Awnings and marquees blaze along both sides of the street while a line of yellow cabs and huddled pedestrians thread through the glow, their outlines dissolving into a wash of reflected colour on the wet pavement.

The embellished surface of this giclée print on aluminium brings real texture to the neon-soaked scene — thick ridges and drips of paint standing in for the restless, layered energy of a New York night. It shares its converging-street composition and metallic finish with Paul's Electric Crossroads.

Empire City Spectrum is a Limited Edition of 195, printed on aluminium in a black floating frame at 107.5 x 107.5cm, from Paul Kenton's Print collection.
