Description

Empire City Spectrum turns a Manhattan street corner into a wall of warm colour, its red and gold neon marquees blazing against a cooling evening sky. Yellow cabs cluster at the kerb, their forms built from layered knife-work in mixed media and metallic pigment.

The wet street below multiplies every light source into long, rippling reflections, a device Paul Kenton returns to across his New York collection to give these city scenes their sense of motion and scale.

Presented on a large 183 x 183cm boxed canvas, this piece is a bold, saturated addition for a collector wanting real New York energy on the wall.
