Description

Feeling Groovy sets a cool blue Manhattan street against rows of warm gold-lit windows, the two temperatures playing off each other up the full height of the canvas. A red storefront awning punctuates the right-hand side, its colour picked up and softened in the wet street below.

The composition narrows toward a pale, glowing vanishing point, with taxis glimpsed low in the frame. Built in mixed media and metallic pigment on boxed canvas, the surface has genuine texture beneath the layered colour.

At 122 x 122cm, it's a mid-scale, square addition to the New York collection.
