Description

Golden Capital surveys the London skyline at sunset, the Shard's slender spire anchoring the left of a wide, panoramic composition. To the right, the City's cluster of glass towers catches the day's last light in cool silver and grey, set against a horizon burning gold and amber.

Above, the sky shifts from warm orange through pink cloud into a deep evening blue, painted in oil on aluminium for a smooth, luminous finish. The long, letterbox format suits the breadth of the view, drawing the eye along the full sweep of the city.

At 183 x 61cm, this is a striking, panoramic addition to Paul Kenton's London collection — a quieter, more classical take on the skyline than his New York work.
