Description

Italian Escape is a small, quietly observed oil study of the Italian countryside, rolling hills of olive and gold leading the eye toward a soft blue-purple mountain on the horizon. A pair of whitewashed farmhouses sit at the treeline, understated details in an otherwise open, breathing landscape.

Loose, confident brushwork captures the texture of sun-warmed fields without overworking the scene, leaving the composition light and immediate, closer to a plein air study than a finished set piece.

Part of the Landscape Collection, this original oil on board measures 15.25 x 15.25 cm and comes framed.
