Description

Italian View is an original oil on board painting created by Paul Kenton during a trip through Tuscany. Textured brushwork builds a layered valley view — pale sky and distant blue hills give way to sunlit fields and a line of cypress trees, with a pale winding path threading through the patchwork farmland below.

The painting has the loose, observational quality typical of Paul's travel work: quick decisions on colour and shape made in front of the subject, capturing the particular light of a Tuscan afternoon rather than picture-postcard detail.

Portrait in format at 15 x 23cm and set in a white ornate frame, it's an intimate original suited to a landscape collection or as a standalone piece of Italian countryside on the wall.
