Description

Lakeside Tranquility was painted on location during Paul Kenton's European travels, capturing a row of terracotta-roofed cabins set against soft, layered peaks. The lake's still surface doubles the scene beneath it, blurring the line between the buildings and their own reflection.

Worked in oil on paper, the painting favours a quiet, muted palette — sage greens and slate blues giving way to warm ochre where the cabins catch the light. It's a small, considered study, built around stillness rather than drama.

Part of the Mountainscape collection, this original comes framed in a black ornate float frame and is ready to hang.
