Description

Last Light in Biarritz captures the Atlantic coastline at the close of day, painted directly on location by Paul Kenton. A low, glowing sun sits behind a rocky headland pierced by a natural arch, its light pouring down through the gap onto swirling turquoise water below.

The sea is worked in rich, layered strokes of teal and turquoise, catching flashes of gold as the last light plays across the surface, while a cluster of clifftop buildings marks the edge of the town above.
